Record your voice
Tap, narrate, and save. Add a photo or video if it helps tell the story, but voice stays at the center.
Voice-first memory keeping for parents
Flat Circle helps you save voice memories with photos or videos attached, encrypt them on your device, and deliver them to your kid when they are grown up.
What this is
Parents already save photos and videos. What disappears is the context: why the moment mattered, what happened right before it, what you were feeling when it happened.
Flat Circle captures the story in your own voice. Media is optional. The meaning comes first.
How it works
Tap, narrate, and save. Add a photo or video if it helps tell the story, but voice stays at the center.
Content is encrypted before upload. The server stores auth data, delivery timing, and encrypted blobs only.
Keep it available now or set a future delivery date. The app is built around memory, care, and time.
Memories are also exported as encrypted bundles to your own cloud storage so your archive is not dependent on us.
Privacy
The goal is simple: the service should have less access to your memories in the first place, not just nicer promises about privacy.

Flat Circle is a convenience layer, not a forever promise. Every memory can be exported as an encrypted bundle with a standalone decryptor.
If the hosted service ever disappears, your archive still contains what you need to recover and decrypt your memories.

Open source
The app, API, encryption flow, export format, and standalone decryptor are open source. That makes the privacy model legible, auditable, and forkable.
The hosted product charges for managed storage, delivery scheduling, and export orchestration, not for locking your memories into a black box.
FAQ
No. It is a voice-first memory app. Photo and video are there to support the story, not replace it.
Your encrypted exports are the durable archive. The hosted app is useful, but it is not the only place your memories live.
No. The service does not have your plaintext content or your encryption keys.
Yes, after the iPhone flow is solid. The shared API and export format are designed so future clients can follow the same contract.
